A physical mailing address is required here and in every marketing email we send under the CAN-SPAM Act.

What we collect

Only what the product needs to work:

• Identity and contact. Your name, company, email address and mobile number, given when you join the buyer list.
• Buying criteria. The strategies, markets, price range and property criteria in your buy box, so we only send you deals that fit.
• Proof of funds. A bank or brokerage statement, or a lender letter, uploaded to show access to at least $50,000. Covered in detail below.
• Consent records. The date and time you agreed to email or text messages, the exact wording shown to you at the time, the page you agreed on, your IP address and your browser's user agent. We keep these as evidence that consent was given.
• Message activity. Whether an email or text was delivered, opened or clicked, and any reply such as STOP.

We do not collect payment details, and we do not run advertising trackers or sell advertising.

Text messages and mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors who provide support services, such as the messaging carrier that delivers a text, is permitted solely to operate the service. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information is not shared with any third party.

You give consent separately for email and for text messages, and neither is a condition of using TAURUS or of any purchase. You can opt out of texts at any time by replying STOP, or get help by replying HELP. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies with how many deals match your buy box. Full details are in our messaging terms.

Proof of funds documents

These are the most sensitive thing we hold, and they are handled differently from everything else:

• Account and routing numbers are masked as soon as the document arrives, keeping only the last four digits. The masked version is what we store.
• The file is kept in private storage. No public link to it is ever created, and it is never included in an email, a web address or a log.
• Access is restricted to the platform owner. Team administrators and assistants see only the outcome, the institution, a balance range and the date — never the document.
• Every time the file is opened, we record who opened it and when.
• After 90 days the file is deleted. We keep only the outcome, the institution, a balance range rather than an exact figure, and the decision date.
• Verification is decided automatically. To read the document we use [document extraction provider — must be named here before upload ships]. Only text extracted from the document is sent, after account numbers have been masked.

Why we use it

• To decide whether you qualify to see full deal information.
• To send you deals matching the criteria you gave us, on the channels you chose.
• To keep a record that you consented, which the law requires us to hold.
• To detect abuse, such as the same document being used on several accounts.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.

Who processes it

Service providers who handle data on our behalf, under contract, and only to run TAURUS:

• Supabase — database, authentication and file storage.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• Resend — sending email.
• Twilio — sending text messages.
• [Document extraction provider, once chosen] — reading proof-of-funds documents.

The independent business whose deal you enquire about will see that you enquired, so it can respond. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Proof-of-funds files: 90 days, then deleted.
• Verification outcomes: kept as a record of the decision, without the document and without an exact balance.
• Consent records: kept for as long as we may need to evidence consent, including after you unsubscribe. Deleting them would destroy the proof that you agreed.
• Account and buy box: until you ask us to delete them.

Your choices

• Unsubscribe from email using the link in any email we send.
• Stop texts by replying STOP to any message.
• Change or delete your buy box at any time in your portal.
• Ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing info@asaptexashomes.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Texas residents have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, including access, correction, deletion and portability, and the right to appeal a refusal.

Security

Access to deal and buyer data is enforced by the database itself rather than only by the website, so a request that bypasses the interface is refused the same way. Administrator accounts require a password and an authenticator app. Proof-of-funds files sit in private storage that only the platform owner can reach.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.

Children

TAURUS is for property investors and is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top and, where the change affects how we contact you, tell you directly. Consent records keep the wording shown at the time they were given, so a change here does not rewrite what you agreed to.
